Experience the vibrant heart of Lisbon in this 2-bedroom apartment, located in the historic neighborhood of Mouraria. Set in a lively area filled with restaurants, bars, and local energy, this retreat offers an authentic taste of Lisbon life. Many of the city's historical attractions are within walking distance, and you'll have easy access to public transportation, including the metro and the iconic Tram 28. With a shared terrace and old-world charm, it’s the perfect base to explore the city. This 51-square-meter apartment is located in the heart of Mouraria, one of Lisbon's oldest and most culturally vibrant neighborhoods. Picture narrow cobblestone streets, colorful facades, and the birthplace of Fado music. But let’s be honest—Mouraria has its urban charm with a touch of authenticity, where you might encounter a few of the city’s more peculiar characters. → Building Situated on the 1st floor of a building without an elevator, this is the perfect spot to dive into Lisbon's lively energy. Nestled in a vibrant area filled with restaurants, bars, and bustling activity, it’s the perfect starting point for those looking to dive into the city’s energy. Please note that, especially on weekends, the atmosphere can be lively and noisy — an authentic experience of Lisbon’s urban life. Like many older buildings in this historic city, the apartment features wooden floors that add charm but can be a little noisy when walked on. Parking is paid, on the street, and subject to availability. → Bedrooms Two bedrooms keep things cozy: one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, and another with two single beds. Bonus? Both have a balcony and electric heaters for those cooler nights. → Bathrooms Two bathrooms, both with showers, ensure sharing the space is hassle-free. As they are interior spaces, we recommend keeping the doors open whenever possible and airing out the apartment regularly during your stay to avoid moisture buildup (and resulting odors). → Living/Dining Room The living room is compact (small, but in a cozy way!). It includes a flat-screen TV, a comfy sofa, and a dining table for 4—perfect for evening card games or planning your Lisbon adventures. → Terrace The 8-square-meter terrace is small but inviting—ideal for a quick coffee or a peaceful moment outdoors. There are no stunning views, just the sky above and a bit of Lisbon serenity. Keep in mind that the terraces are connected, creating an open, shared atmosphere. → Kitchen Fully equipped for your culinary needs, the kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and Dolce Gusto coffee machine (coffee not included). Good to Know Let’s be honest, this is a classic Lisbon apartment, full of charm… and a few quirks you’ll want to know before arriving: - The apartment is on the 1st floor of an old building with no elevator. The wooden floors add character, but they creak and can be noisy when walked on. - You’re right in the heart of Mouraria, surrounded by restaurants, local life, and a lot of movement. It can get noisy at night, especially on weekends, part of the real Lisbon experience. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might come in handy. - Parking is on the street, paid, and limited. If you’re bringing a car, expect a bit of a hunt. - There’s no air conditioning. Electric heaters are available for colder days and fans for the warmer ones, but if you're sensitive to heat, it's something to consider. - The apartment sits at the top of a hill, with charming cobbled streets. Lisbon is not flat, so wear comfortable shoes and embrace the climb. - Both bathrooms are interior, so we recommend airing them out regularly to prevent humidity and unpleasant odors. - The outdoor area is small and accessible through other apartment, ideal for a quick coffee in the open air, but without much of a view or privacy. - There is construction work taking place nearby, which may cause daytime noise on weekdays. We can’t control it, but we believe in full transparency. Additional Info: → The property is ''Self-Catered''.
