A two-bedroom apartment located in one of the oldest and most historic neighborhoods of Lisbon - Alfama. This cozy apartment invites you to experience the essence of this ancient neighborhood, where narrow cobblestone streets wind their way through centuries-old buildings, creating an atmosphere that is both timeless and vibrant. - Building The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a building without an elevator in the heart of Alfama, one of the oldest and most characteristic neighborhoods in Lisbon. Please be mindful that access and stairs to the apartment are narrow and steep. The apartment is in an old building, as most in this historical city, with its own particularities such as a deficient sound isolation, propensity for humidity (specially during periods of heavy rain) and antiquated plumbing system. Alfama is a tourist area known for its bustling activity throughout the day, so noise can be expected. Also, there's a restaurant right next door! In this area, the annual Santos Populares festivities take place during the month of June. Please be aware that this is a period of intense movement and noise in the streets! - Bedrooms It features one bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning and one interior bedroom (no windows to the outside) with a single bed. - Living Room A cozy living room with a sofa bed, Air Conditioning, TV and a dining table for 4. - Kitchen Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, washing machine, and coffee machine (coffee not included). - Bathroom The apartment has a bathroom with a shower. Please note that it is an indoor bathroom and, as such, tends to accumulate moisture due to showers - we advise you to keep the door open whenever possible and to air out the apartment frequently during your stay. Small shower, not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Good to know: - There is ongoing construction works in the building - Access to the accommodation is made via stairs only - Located in a lively neighborhood; therefore some noise is expected Additional Info → The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. → Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in. → The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance. → Check-in time starts from 15:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided. → We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information. → Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table. → During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or → The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay. → Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee. → City Tax will be charged according to the law.
