So please read it carefully before your arrival and let us know if you need anything or have any questions. ## Neighborhood Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast, you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area. The beautiful local beaches Dona Ana, Batata, Meia Praia do Pinhao near are all within a 10 to 15 minute stroll. Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse is 2 km from Portugal Home, where you can walk down the rocks to find boat tours through the caves. Lagos Zoo is 11 km away. ## Transit You are free to explore Lagos by foot, but if you would like to explore the Monchique Range, to enjoy the worldwide known famous Surf spots (Praia do Amado) and to visit the south-western most tip of Europe (Sagres), it is better to rent a car. From the Faro Airport, you can rent a car very cheaply or you can take the train from Faro main train station directly to Lagos train station which is 2.1 km from the apartment. ## Notes ➤ Check-in time: 16:00 - 22:00 (late arrival possible in consultation) ➤ Check-out time: before 10:00 ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS.
