The building, like many in this historic city, is old, presenting characteristic challenges of its age. It does not have an elevator, and access to the apartment is via narrow and steep wooden stairs. In addition, it has an outdated plumbing system, so, to prevent characteristic odors, please ventilate the apartment frequently during your stay. The property is situated on a steep and narrow cobbled street, with limited street parking (paid). Just a 3-minute walk away are the Penha de França Municipal Swimming Pools, publicly accessible (daily cost between €1.80 from Monday to Friday until 5:00 . and €2.30 after 5:00 . and on Saturdays). - Bedrooms The apartment has 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms on the lower floor, with a double bed, laptop desk, wardrobe, and portable heaters. On the upper floor, accessible by stairs, you'll find a spacious bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobes, sitting area, and equipped with air conditioning. Please note that the ceilings are very low (following the roof's architecture). - Bathrooms There are two bathrooms - one on the lower floor with a bathtub and another in the attic with a shower. Both are interior (without windows to the outside), so we advise keeping the doors open whenever possible and airing out the spaces during your stay to prevent moisture buildup (and resulting odors). - Kitchen Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine (coffee not included). - Living Area A gathering space, ideal for planning your next adventure in Lisbon, featuring an unusual sofa and chairs. TV is internet-connected only, with no cable channels. Gather your group around the table and enjoy some of the available games (stored on the upper floor).
